Why Sharing Christian Resources With Families Matters More Than You Think
A friend recently shared Stone & Scribe with his church. The church decided to include it in their newsletter, and shortly after it went out, we saw the biggest spike in visits to our website that we had seen in the past month.
At first glance, it is just a graph. But to me, that spike represents something much bigger than website traffic. It represents families, parents, grandparents, church leaders, and potentially kids discovering Stone & Scribe who may never have found it otherwise.
That was a good reminder of just how much a simple share can matter.
Stone & Scribe is still growing, and like anything new, one of the biggest challenges is simply helping the right people discover that it exists. I can share it through social media, email, churches, homeschool groups, and other places, but there is only so far I can reach on my own.
That changes when other people start sharing it.
When someone tells a friend, sends the website to another family, mentions it to their church, or introduces me to someone who works with kids, Stone & Scribe suddenly reaches people I probably would not have reached myself.
And that matters because the goal has never really been website traffic.
The goal is to help more kids and families discover the Bible through story, curiosity, investigation, and adventure. Stone & Scribe was created to give kids an experience where Scripture feels like something worth exploring, asking questions about, and digging into.

That might mean opening a mysterious letter in the mail, studying a map, solving a code, investigating a biblical story, or following clues that lead them deeper into Scripture.
So when I see a spike like the one in this graph, I do not really see numbers. I see the possibility that more families have now discovered something that could help their kids engage with the Bible in a new way.
There is also something powerful about personal recommendations.
A social media post can introduce someone to Stone & Scribe, but a friend saying, “I thought your kids might enjoy this,” carries a different kind of weight. The same is true when a church shares a resource with the families it serves.
That one church newsletter proved the point perfectly. One person made an introduction, one church decided to share it, and suddenly Stone & Scribe was in front of an entirely new group of people.
That is why I am asking for your help.
If Stone & Scribe has resonated with you, consider sharing it with a parent, grandparent, friend, church, homeschool family, children's leader, or anyone else who comes to mind. And if you know an organization or person you think I should connect with directly, I would genuinely appreciate an introduction.
One share might feel small, but as that graph reminded me, it can make a much bigger difference than we realize.
